Second Award in Three Months!

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve just scooped our second award in three months.

This time, we have been voted ‘Best Small Business’ runner up in the annual Business Excellence Awards run by The News.

The Business Excellence Awards is now in its sixth year and this year, it attracted a record number of candidates.

It may seem strange to be boasting of coming second – after all, it’s not first! – but we are proud of this achievement all the same.

We were up against a strong field of contenders, all from different walks of commerce, so we couldn’t be measured on a like-for-like basis. The Judges commended us on our successful strategy of reducing the number of false alarms generated by systems installed by our company, thus easing the ever increasing demands upon the Police.

Our false alarm statistics are now less than half of the industry average, currently sitting at 0.13 false alarms per system per annum. We have achieved this by getting it right – using the right product for the job, making sure the installation is right, and giving the right service to all our customers.

We are particularly pleased to be acknowledged in this way by the business community, especially as, geographically, we were rank outsiders, Chichester being on the extreme edge of the Awards catchment area. The black tie event was compered by TV’s Sally Taylor, and England Football legend Sir Geoff Hurst gave the after dinner speech, It was the icing on the cake to pick up the award which is sitting happily next to our other awards.

The whole team works unstintingly to make sure that Gardners is exceptional and it is rewarding to receive these accolades which we can all be proud of.
