Burglar Alarms
In today's society, and
is paramount. Our security systems
are installed by skilled technicians and are designed to meet the requirements of the customer in conjunction with the very
latest NSI (formerly NACOSS) standards.
We continually monitor both our equipment and our suppliers to guarantee that the standards associated with the
Gardner Security brand continue.
We recognise that every customers’ situation, property and needs differ. Our
surveyor will visit your premises to design a system specifically for your property. Gardner
Security’s experienced surveyors and our comprehensive product range ensures that we
can always meet individual needs and expectations.
Gardner Security solutions include , and systems for all commercial
premises from single offices to large industrial units.
Protecting the home
Burglar Alarms (or intruder alarms as we refer to them in the trade) are the most
influential factor in deterring a break-in.
Research shows that the majority of residential burglars said that they avoided properties
with burglar alarms altogether (source the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) 'Domestic alarms market research survey').
When planning your it
is worth considering that the Association of British Insurers (ABI)
state that the average claim in 2004 for a break-in to a home is £1,040.
This, coupled with the fact that having a security system can mean reduced insurance
premiums, suggests it is obviously the sensible option to prevent a break-in
rather than fit an intruder alarm system to stop the burglars from coming back.
When convenient, a Gardner Security surveyor will visit your home to discuss your
security concerns and establish how best to protect your property. With this in
mind the surveyor
will design a system to suite your exact requirements that meets all of
the NSI (formally known as NACOSS) standards.
Our own qualified engineers install all our systems. We pride ourselves on our
attention to detail, the care we take of your premises and by causing minimal disruption.
The floor plan above is an example of how a typical home can be protected using
three movement detectors, two door contacts and one panic button.
Protecting Business
When planning security for your business it is not just the issue of financial loss you
have to consider but the disruption to your business and the safety of your employees.
The ABI (Association Of British Insurers) stated that the average claim for a
break-in to commercial premises' in 2004 was £2,408 not to mention the trauma and
stress caused.
Gardner Security can assist you in gaining the security measures your business needs. All
of our security systems are of the highest quality, are installed by our own skilled technicians and
are designed to meet the requirements of the customer and NSI (formally known as NACOSS) standards.
Extensive research and quality testing is undertaken to ensure Gardner Security use the very
best equipment available on the market; this is why we use Honeywell's Galaxy 2 Series range of burglar alarm systems. This system
is created across a single platform and offers consummate integration, flexibility and choice.
Our own qualified engineers install all our systems. We pride ourselves on our
attention to detail, care of your premises and causing minimal disruption to your premises.

Wireless Applications
This
Galaxy panel range may also be used with RF peripherals to configure a wireless or
hybrid wireless/wired system.
Alarm Monitoring
is designed to be used either remotely, receiving signals from remote Galaxy
sites via a telecom, ISDN or ethernet module, or on-site receiving signals directly
from an
RS232 interface. The encrypted alarm transmissions are captured by the
alarm
monitoring software and presented to the operator in a precise and detailed manner. The
operator is prompted to acknowledge each alarm before taking appropriate action. The activity
of each
alarm is recorded and time-stamped.
Alarm monitoring also allows authorised users to
connect directly to the panel via the
Galaxy Gold mimic function.
