Risk Assessment

CIA is the most recognized and well respected security brand in the South and able to assist with Risk Assessments in West Sussex and Hampshire, as well as Berkshire, Dorset, East Sussex, Surrey and Wiltshire.

The procedures required for undertaking a risk assessment for the design of an intruder alarm system are detailed in the current European Standard, and CIA is qualified to undertake assessments for the design and risk grading of burglar alarms.

As well as European Standards, insurers look to the NSI (as part of the their inspection programmes) to ensure that security system installers carry out professional risk assessments for the systems they design in order to select a risk assessment grade.

Insurers also expect alarm installers to take into account the need to detect intruders before they reach the target when they design a confirmable alarm system, as well as providing confirmation of detection.
